Magnus is the son of John Cromartie. He married Cristen Cara around 1485. The name of the farm was subsequently changed to 'Cara' and remains in that name today (photo). Two children have been identified: John Cromartie (1st of Cara) (03-1) Janet Cromartie (03-2)
