A Warm Welcome to all Cromarty & Cromartie 'Cousins' Around the World

Enquiries from or about Cromartys in Australia

My great great grandfather was a William Cromarty.  He died 21st August 1926 at
Broken Hill hospital and owned a sheep station, "One Tree", Milparinka, NSW.  We don't have his birth certificate, but death certificate says he was born at Ballarat.  He was 60 years old at death and had married Jane Keenan in Wilcannia, NSW.  I would be grateful to have any history you shed light on.  Thank you.  Michael Maxwell. mailto:richmondnsw@ljh.com.au

I am researching my ancestor Joshua Peck, a convict on the First Fleet. He and his wife Mary Frost, convict on the Neptune, had several children, one being Thomas who married Elizabeth, daughter of William Cromarty  who was the first white settler in Port Stephens, NSW.   Pam mailto:pburgess@alphalink.com.au
